Forensic Biology:

Forensic biology is the Analysis of tissue samples and substances (particularly blood, and other biological remains) . It is an aid (clue, evidence) in the forensic investigation and analysis of items retrieved from a crime scene through the use of scientific methods.

Forensic biology includes the examination of blood and other bodily fluids,hair, bones, insects, plant and animal remains to help identify victims and support criminal investigations.

DNA Fingerprinting


It is a technique employed by forensic scientists and experts to assist in the identification of individuals by their respective DNA profiles. DNA profiles are encrypted sets of numbers that reflect a person's DNA makeup, which can also be used as the person's identifier

DNA fingerprinting is becoming more and more prevalent in the world of criminal forensics.DNA fingerprinting is currently used both for identifying paternity or maternity and for identifying criminals or victims.

Paternity/Maternity matching is advised in cases of claim of child, identification of biological mother and father and other disputed situations.


Toxicology:

It is a branch of biology, chemistry, and medicine concerned with the study of the adverse effects of chemicals on living organisms.br> Forensic toxicology is a branch of forensic science concerned with the study of toxic substances or poisons, Toxicology encompasses theoretical considerations, methods and procedures from many disciplines including analytical chemistry, biochemistry, epidemiology, pharmaco-dynamics, pathology, physiology. And considered mostly in medico legal cases.

Forensic toxicology is the study of drugs ad poisons including there chemical composition and identification.

It is concerned with how toxins act, when their harmful effects occur, and what the symptoms and treatments are for poisoning. It also involves the identification of the substances involved.
